Here we go! Be well during your first year as a resident

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the first WilliBwell post. I am passionate about the wellness of clinical learners and educators. Your job is to care for the patients and our job is to care for you! This category on our blog is designed to encourage YOU to develop and maintain healthy lifestyles, balance work, education and personal lives, cope with stress, and boost morale and productivity.

In light of a new academic year, I would like to link you to Mary L. Brandt, MD’s post from “Wellnessrounds.”  Mary is a Professor of Surgery, Pediatrics and Medical Ethics at Baylor College of Medicine.

For more information on our Resident and Fellow Assistance Program (RAP) and an informational video on sleep and wellness from Regions Hospital’s Rachel Dahms, MD visit the WillieBwell page!

Here’s Mary’s Post Starting Internship (I know what you are worried about): http://wellnessrounds.org/2012/06/24/starting-internship-i-know-what-you-are-worried-about/
